Experiment Results

We put a container of water in the freezer Friday at bedtime, filled all the way to the top with a lid in hopes the expansion would be obvious. When we got it out Saturday morning, Jasper was delighted that it had become ice. He kind of missed the point that it was also bigger in volume than when we put it in. However, he carefully explained to his dad and grandparents later that day how water freezes and makes cracks in the road.
